So when Leo Zelaya opened his Rosebank-based boutique restaurant in 2010, he was spiritually inspired by that staple of Mexican culture and cuisine.

Service is unobtrusive, friendly and smooth. The staff is very knowledgeable of all ingredients, menu items and details of the restaurant. To me, those are indications that the workers have their hearts and souls in the establishment. In the case of Maizal, it makes for sincere service and overall fine attention to detail.
